Ansaldo Caldaie has extensive experience with Utility Boilers having designed, manufactured and installed worldwide more than 1000 units of various types and sizes up to 2160 t/h with steam pressures up to 260 bar.
Ansaldo Caldaie proprietary design covers oil, coal and gas firing and multifuel firing, such as oil-gas, oil-coal and the tri-fuel oil-gas-coal type. The Company’s experience ranges from drum type to once through supercritical pressure type, with reheat and multi-fuel firing.
The experience and know-how inherited from our three original companies (ANSALDO, BREDA TERMOMECCANICA, FRANCO TOSI) gives Ansaldo Caldaie a unique advantage including an extensive background in front-opposite and tangential firing technology. We are also able, with this expertise, to provide service and maintenance for steam generators designed and supplied by others.
As to our experience with design, manufacture and supply of Heat Recovery Steam Generators, we can pride ourselves on over 100 units worldwide, out of which 45 operate behind 250 MWe GTs.
