Drum type Utility Boilers

The Company has its own proprietary technology for drum type boilers based on the natural circulation design.
Drum type boilers with natural circulation system can be used up to a pressure of 200 bar(g).
Available drum type designs:

 

TPI (two pass integral)
  • Sub-critical conditions
  • Suitable for gas and oil firing
  • Compact design with one gas pass parallel to the furnace
  • Membrane wall construction
  • S/H and economiser fully drainable
Box
  • Sub-critical conditions
  • Suitable for gas and oil firing
  • Compact design with two gas passes above the furnace
  • Membrane wall construction , with ribbed tubes when required
  • S/H, R/H and economiser fully drainable
  • R/H temperature control by means of gas recirculation

 

Two-pass (type “H” and “C”)

  • Sub-critical conditions
  • Suitable for coal, gas and oil firing
  • Downflow convection backpass, which minimizes overall steam generator height, allowing maximum freedom in the choice of gas velocities to match the fuel characteristics (oil, gas or coal).
  • Membrane wall construction , with ribbed tubes when required.
  • S/H1, R/H1 and economiser fully drainable
  • R/H temperature control by means of gas recirculation or gas biasing dampers
